Ho Chi Minh City, October 27, 2025 – To support affected communities in recovering from recent storms and floods, HEINEKEN Vietnam, through its Tiger brand, is joining forces with local authorities in Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, and Ha Tinh to roll out the “Tiger Stands with Northern Vietnam to recover from typhoon 2025” program. The initiative aims to provide 700 packages of essential relief supplies to 700 households, with a total support value of nearly VND 850 million.
Between September and October 2025, Vietnam was struck by a series of severe and complex storms that have caused widespread damage to the economy, infrastructure, and livelihoods across affected areas. Amid these challenges, local authorities are urgently implementing recovery efforts to help people re-stabilize their lives, with strong support from various organizations, businesses, and the broader community.
In that shared spirit of solidarity, HEINEKEN Vietnam, through its Tiger brand, is rolling out the "Tiger Stands with Northern Vietnam to recover from typhoon 2025’" program in collaboration with local authorities in Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, and Ha Tinh - some of the areas most severely affected by recent typhoons. The initiative aims to provide essential relief packages to 700 local households, with a total support value of nearly VND 850 million.
Through this program, relief packages including Tiger bags and water bottles, food, condiments, and other daily necessities are being distributed directly by Tiger employees to households across 12 communes and wards in the three provinces. These areas include Tien Trang, Nong Cong, and Hoang Thanh communes in Thanh Hoa; Dien Chau commune and Quynh Phuong ward in Nghe An; as well as Tien Dien, Duc Quang, Loc Ha, and Dong Tien communes, together with Bac Hong Linh, Vung Ang, and Hoanh Son wards in Ha Tinh. Beyond the essential supplies, these visits by the Tiger team also aim to provide emotional support and encourage the local communities to remain resilient through this challenging time.
"Our thoughts are with the people of Northern Vietnam following the recent storms and floods, and we deeply respect their resilience and determination in overcoming these challenges," said Ms. Huỳnh Phương Thảo, Brand Director of Tiger in Vietnam. "With the support and collaboration of local authorities, through the 'Tiger stands with Northern Vietnam to recover from typhoon 2025' program, we hope to contribute meaningfully as part of the recovery efforts, helping affected communities rebuild stability in their lives and continue moving forward.’"
Joining the event in Tien Dien, Mr. Phan Van Linh, Chairman of the Tien Dien Commune People’s Committee in Ha Tinh, shared: "In the days following the storm, our community has faced countless challenges.
