Da Nang Brewery

Our Brewery in Da Nang came to fruition thanks to a joint venture between BGI (Société des Brasseries et Glacieres Internationales) and Da Nang Beer & Beverage Company which was established in January 1994. In 1997, BGI became 100% foreign owned as Foster’s Da Nang. In 2007, HEINEKEN Vietnam acquired Foster’s Da Nang and it became part of the HEINEKEN Vietnam Group.

The Da Nang Brewery is currently located on a 16.2 hectare site in Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang. It first brewed Larue beer in 1995 and Tiger beer in 2011.

The Da Nang Brewery is also a global leader in water efficiency. Since 2014, it has been recognized among the top 5 water efficient breweries in its HEINEKEN peer group, making its performance on par with its peers in Portugal, Mexico and the United Kingdom. Da Nang Brewery also brews with 100% renewable energy.

The Da Nang Brewery maintains numerous quality and safety certifications, including:

• Environmental management: ISO 14001
