Mid autumn program

Ho Chi Minh City, September 14, 2013, Vietnam Brewery Limited (VBL) with the support of the Youth Union of Thoi An Ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, organized Mid-Autumn festival “Dream Moon” in the VBL brewery in District 12, for disadvantaged children in the ward.

Twenty-four hours after that on Sunday September 15 2013, the volunteers - VBL staff members - continue with the Mid-Autumn program - “Dream Moon” at Thien Phuoc Handicapped Children Fostering Institution and Thanh Loc Disabled and Elderly People Fostering Center in District 12.

Besides organizing traditional and fun activities of Mid-Autumn Festival, the program also donated 100 Mid-Autumn gifts for children from  unfortunate circumstances in Thoi An ward, 100 gifts and essential items for underprivileged children in Thien Phuoc Handicapped Children Fostering Institution, 260 gifts to Thanh Loc Disabled and Elderly People Fostering Center totaling VND66 million excluding the volunteers’ donations.

VBL Da Nang and volunteers organized the "Moon of Dreams" program at Nguyen Dinh Chieu School.

The “Dream Moon” program will continue to be held at all localities with VBL offices/breweries such as Quang Nam, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Nha Trang, Tien Giang, Vinh Long and Can Tho with a total cost of nearly VND320 million, including voluntary contributions of individuals and partners which was VND75 million.

The Autumn Program was vibrant and meaningful for the children of disadvantaged families in Trung An Commune, Tien Giang Province and Cai Khe Ward, Can Tho City.

Along with the cooperation and support of the unions and local government where the program is organized, volunteers who are employees of the Company, the Mid-Autumn Festival - “Dream Moon” in provinces and cities will welcome a total of 1,500 disadvantaged children. Not only joining traditional fun activities of the Mid-Autumn Festival like the lantern parade, there is a party with “Chu Cuoi”, Phoebe, where each child receives a special mid-autumn gift.

The Mid-Autumn Program - “Dream Moon” is one of the VBL community sharing and supporting activities besides “Warm Spring” and “Fun Back To School” in which the company has successfully held in previous years.
