GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY OF CAPACITY EXPANSION PROJECT OF

VBL TIEN GIANG BREWERY
                                           

In Tien Giang - March 28, 2013, VBL Tien Giang Limited ("VBLTG") held the Ground Breaking Ceremony of the brewery's capacity expansion project from 65 million liters of beer / year to 150 million liters of beer / year according to the Investment certificate and approval of the People's Committee of Tien Giang Province on January 18, 2013. This is an important milestone marking the strong development of VBLTG.

Since April 2007, VBLTG officially became a member of Vietnam Brewery Limited ("VBL"). With this brewery's capacity expansion project, VBLTG will be equipped with modern equipments and machinery, along with the most advanced technology procedures of international standards in order to meet the increasing demand of customers in Mekong Delta region. Total  project investment is 1.060 billion dongs (approximately 50.500.000 USD) and the project is scheduled for completion on June 2014.

With the project scale after completion, VBLTG will be one of the most modern breweries in Vietnam and will continue to be the head unit contributing to the State budget among foreign-invested enterprises in Tien Giang province, with the expected budget remittance of up to 1.000 billion dong in 2015 when the brewery operates at full capacity. In addition to strict adherence to standards for investment in machinery and equipments, production processes, quality management consistent with VBL, VBLTG will also enforce the norms of environmental protection, occupational safety, energy savings, etc, towards sustainable development.
