LAUNCHED "WARM SPRING" PROGRAM

Ho Chi Minh City, January 14, 2013, - in K'La village, Dang Commune, Tay Giang District, Quang Nam Province, employees of Vietnam Brewery Limited (VBL) in Da Nang visited and donated to Boarding school in Dang Commune and 36 poor households of K'La ethnic group with the total value of gifts was 25,000,000 VND, 200 blankets and some clothes donated by a philanthropist & company's employees. Commenced from  Tet Holiday 2012, the VBL "Warm Spring" was designed to join hands to bring warm spring atmosphere to the elderly, children, unfortunate households and spread the culture of sharing & connecting staff in social activities of the company. In the first year of 2012, the "warm spring" journey of the company, through nearly 120 volunteers who are employees of the company, brought the warmth of spring to 1,286 elderly people, underprivileged children in the areas locating VBL offices and breweries .

Following the journey in 2012, after the startup trip to Dang commune, the "Warm Spring" journey in Tet 2013 continued to visit poor households in remote districts and provinces such as Quang Nam, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Qui Nhon, Nha Trang, Tien Giang, Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh City, with a estimated total budget of VND 500 million, not including employees' donation.

Caring and sharing with the community is one of three VBL strategic activities relate to the social responsibility program. Besides the Warm Spring program, the company has had regular community support activities for many years, such as: visiting and gifting the boarding school and poor households in Dang commune, Quang Nam province , visiting and supporting Thien Phuoc Handicapped Children Fostering Institution and Thanh Loc disabled and elderly people fostering center in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, the company has actively supported local authorities by taking part in funding for construction of House of Charity, House of Gratitude, kindergartens, clean water supply stations, annual support for Association for Poor Patients in Ho Chi Minh City.
