Heineken Jubilant Festive Season: Five continents convergence for 2014

Pioneering in high-class creative events during this year’s festive season, the international premium beer brand Heineken will continue to offer Vietnamese fans a completely original festival experience with water, music and light performances associated with unique festivals of five continents in Ban Nguyet Lake (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City)

Located in the center of Phu My Hung and always attracting the attention of the youth of Saigon, at the moment preparations are being made in Ban Nguyet Lake to offer fans the most jubilant 2014 New Year event. On the night of December 31, the center of Ban Nguyet Lake will shimmer with a floating giant star created by a system of thousands of sparkling water rays. Using the most advanced technology, together with impressive laser light art performances and passionate electronic music, the water music performances promise to bring a surprising element to make audience members literally say ‘WOW’.

In the radiant space of Ban Nguyet Lake, five fleets representing five continents and more than 100 performers in magnificent costumes will bring to Ho Chi Minh City a jubilant carnival atmosphere from all around the world. This is the first time the program will offer a record-breaking number of Vietnamese and international artists who are sure to bring in the new year with a bang. The  talented artists include DJ Azam, beautiful singer Andreea D, talented European violinist Sima, percussionist Scott Brantley (Australia), rapper/MC Justin Mutar (U.S.) and especially…wait for it… the appearance of the acrobats of the famous Cirque du Soleil.

Besides that, the top stars of the Vietnamese showbiz world such as Ho Ngoc Ha, Ha Anh Tuan, Minh Hang, Bao Anh, Trang Phap and rapper Antoneus Maximus  promise to bring a Vietnamese touch to the proceedings.

Along with the impressive laser light art show and exciting electronic music, the artists will offer a vibrant musical banquet charming millions of Vietnamese viewers as they welcome in the new year. On the night of December 31, in the Opera House Square, Hanoi revelers will also be immersed in a world-class festival and may be overwhelmed with the perfect combination of high-grade music of DJ Tenishia, DJ Ruben De Ronde and Rhapsody Philharmonic Orchestra with spectacular light performances.

There is a surprise, as during the final moments of 2013, thousands of audience members in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi will receive a special gift from the world’s No.1 DJ - Armin Van Buuren. He will also send New Year greetings to Vietnamese audiences through a special video clip.
