HEINEKEN CHALLENGES PEOPLE TO VENTURE THEIR ROUTINE AND DISCOVER THEIR CITIES WITH "CITIES OF THE WORLD"

 

Ho Chi Minh City, August 01, 2014 Heineken today unveils the first of its kind Ho Chi Minh City Bottle limited edition in the ‘Cities of the world’ campaign to kick start the latest initiative of the world’s leading beer brand: Inspiring people to dare to seek out and live new and worldly experiences, starting from their home city. For the first time in history, consumers in Ho Chi Minh City will enjoy the specially designed Heineken bottle with the name of Ho Chi Minh City featured on the label, explore their cities and get the chance to live worldly experiences in global cities.

To inspire consumers, together with the impressive City Limited Edition, Heineken also reveals a short television ad called The City. The inspiring TVC tells the story of a man who embarks on an adventure to return a set of lost business cards to a beautiful woman, which then leads him to uncover surprising and hidden venues in his city.

“We know that while Heineken drinkers are familiar with many of the hot spots in their cities, they may not venture outside their usual routine on a daily basis to explore the unexpected,” said Mr. Leo Evers, Managing Director of Vietnam Brewery Limited (VBL). “With the “Cities of the World” campaign, we’re aiming to inspire them to get out of their comfortable zones this summer to discover and unlock the secrets of their own cities,” he added.

Heineken fans in Vietnam can now cherish the new Ho Chi Minh bottle while kick-starting their ‘City of the world’ journey right from where they live by joining Heineken’s City of the World Adventure, winning daily prizes and getting rewarded with trips to explore international cities of the world.
