Vietnam Brewery Limited Announces Name Change And Adopts New Branding

Ho Chi Minh City, August 1, 2016 – Today Vietnam Brewery Limited announced its name change to Heineken Vietnam Brewery Limited Company (Heineken Vietnam Brewery). The name change will be accompanied by a new logo which replaces the previous logo used in the Asia Pacific region.

New brand identity – Unchanged respective shareholdings of joint venture partners, the organization and management structur

Heineken Vietnam Brewery comprises the joint venture between Saigon Trading Group and Heineken Asia Pacific, which control a 40% and 60% shareholding respectively.

Madam Le Minh Trang, Chairlady of Heineken Vietnam Brewery’s Members Council and General Director of Satra, commented: “With the new visual identity of Heineken Vietnam Brewery we look forward to continue our successful joint venture and achieve new successes in the future. The respective shareholdings of joint venture partners, the organization and management structure will not change following the adoption of the new name and brand identity. Heineken Vietnam Brewery will maintain its current production and trading model and keep ownership rights over beer brands including Heineken®, Tiger, Larue, BGI, Bivina, Desperados, Affligem and Strongbow Cider.

The new name and brand identity will be included on the packaging of all our products from 1 January, 2017 onwards. The products bearing the name Vietnam Brewery Limited, which will continue to circulate in the first half of 2017, will have the same consistent top quality as the products bearing the new name Heineken Vietnam Brewery.

Following the adoption of our new name and logo, our new website address will be www.heineken-vietnam.com.vn and our new email domain name will change to @heineken.com
