"One minute less for million smiles" 2014 continues in Tien Giang

On August 31, 2014, VBL continued to implement the “1 minute less for million smiles” 2014, themed “Togetherness” at the My Tho City Cultural House with the participation of 200 volunteers from Tien Giang University and 100 voluntary staff members from VBLTG and VBL Tien Giang branch.

On this occasion, VBL handed VND300 million to the local authority to build a water tower and a pipeline for people at No. 1 Hamlet , Thanh Loc Commune, Cai Lay District, Tien Giang province.This is the second clean water project after the first one at Ganil Hamlet, Axan Commune, Tay Giang District, Quang Nam province  which was funded under the “1 minute less for million smiles” 2014.

This is the third consecutive year VBL has carried out the “1 minute less for million smiles” to raise awareness of saving and preserving water resources in community as well as to bring clean water to those who are in need.
