Bringing happiness to needy people

To promote the sharing spirit within the community, Vietnam Brewery Limited (VBL) carried out the “Warm Spring”program 2014 in Quang Nam, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City. Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Can Tho and Dong Thap.

Being greeted with radiant smiles of elderly people, children and disadvantaged people when visiting, giving out Happy New Year greetings and gifts from the “Warm Spring” program is always one of the highlights of program volunteers. Therefore, despite remote destinations and a tight schedule at the end of the year, the volunteers - VBL staff and our partners are not afraid of long distances and arrange their time off to join the program. Joy, happiness and a warm spring atmosphere was spread not only in the households but also among volunteers joining the program which is the meaning behind the “Warm Spring” program that VBL has held annually in the past three years, since 2012.

Spread and build the sharing culture

With the goal to develop mutual assistance spirit, the community supporting programs organized by VBL are always open and welcome the participation and voluntary contributions of employees and business partners. With the total value of over VND908 million of the “Warm Spring” program in 2014, the contribution of staff and business partners reached over VND273 million.

Regarding the community support activities of VBL, Mr. Leo Evers, - Managing Director said: “We often launch many programs to support those in difficult conditions; and especially in the days before Tet, we carried out many activities to bring happiness and warmth to disadvantaged and poor families in the traditional New Year Festival. As a reputable company with more than 20 years of operation in Vietnam, we understand our responsibility to the community where we run our business.”
