VIETNAM BREWERY LIMITED LAUNCHES LARUE LEMON

THE FIRST LEMON-FLAVORED BEER IN VIETNAM

Ho Chi Minh City, June 2015 – Vietnam Brewery Limited (VBL) officially launches Larue Lemon - an all-new lemon-flavored beer in Vietnam market.

The lemon-flavored beer originated in Germany – home of some famous flavored beers in the world. In the early 1920s, the lemon-flavored beer started to appear in Munich – Bavaria’s capital and was the drink for cyclists. Since then, the beer has always been favored for its uniquely refreshing taste, resulting from a mix of lager beer and natural lemon juice. In 2013, the lemon-flavored beer trend made its way across the sea and started winning consumers’ hearts in more than 39 countries such as: New Zealand, the United States, Brazil, South Africa, Malaysia…

Seizing the rising lemon-flavored beer trend around the world, VBL officially launched Larue Lemon –the first lemon-flavored beer in Vietnam. Combining the art of German’s mixing technique and modern production line of VBL, Larue Lemon represents VBL’s leading position to bring quality innovation to beer drinkers.

This summer, Larue Lemon is to debut a new trend in Vietnam, bringing new choice and new taste experience to young adult drinkers. Brewed at 2.7% ABV, Larue Lemon is a double refreshing beer to everyday moments beyond conventional beer occasions like drinking at cinema, after workout, or simply quenching thirst.
