HEINEKEN Vietnam launches Larue Smooth, a superior refreshment with HEINEKEN’s global quality

With great enthusiasm to address ever changing consumer needs, Larue is proud to introduce its new line extension Larue Smooth, a product exclusively developed by HEINENEN Vietnam for the Central market. As part of the launch, leaders of Quang Nam province joined a working session at HEINEKEN Vietnam Brewery in Quang Nam, visiting the production line and acknowledging HEINEKEN Vietnam's contributions to the economic and social development of Quang Nam province.


SUPERIOR QUALITY, NOW COMES IN A YOUTHFUL SLEEK CAN OF LARUE SMOOTH

Larue beer was born in Da Nang in the Central region of Vietnam in 1909. After more than 100 years, Larue beer still retains its distinctive flavor, thanks to HEINEKEN Vietnam’s strict global quality control. During the visit to the factory, Mr Lê Trí Thanh, the Chairman of Quang Nam Province People’s Committee affirmed: “Larue beer is the pride of Quang Nam for many years. We are glad to see the brand’s popularity, which is testament to its superior product quality from a global beer company.”

The new Larue Smooth beer makes a strong impression with its youthful packaging and sleek can design. When poured into glass, the beer showcases its attractive color and refreshing aftertaste thanks to its fine ingredients and a European brewing process. Like the name Larue Smooth, the beer brings a smooth, refreshing taste. Mr. Trần Minh Triết, Deputy Managing Director, HEINEKEN Vietnam shared: "Like the people of Central Vietnam, who are diligent and creative, Larue Smooth was developed to meet the diverse needs and tastes of the Central people. With a smooth taste and youthful packaging design, Larue Smooth is set to win the hearts of people in the Central region.”

 

 


LARUE CREATING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE FOR PEOPLE IN THE CENTRAL

In the working session at the Brewery, leaders of Quang Nam province praised Larue brand and HEINEKEN Vietnam Brewery in Quang Nam for the commitment to protecting the environment and supporting the local community. Larue is currently brewed in a green and sustainable brewery, with zero waste to landfill. 100% wastewater from the brewery after treatment meets the safety standards of the Industrial Zone and can be safety returned to the environment. The brewery is also using 100% renewable thermal energy to brew its beers. Over the past years, Larue has joined hands with the local community in natural disaster appeals, and worked to raise awareness for healthy watersheds.

Throughout the last years, Larue beer has contributed 57% - 66% to Quang Nam province’s budget revenue (in the FDI sector). In 2021, Larue beer and HEINEKEN Vietnam, made a significant contribution of approximately 756 billion VND in tax revenues to the province. With the support of consumers behind Larue, HEINEKEN Vietnam will keep contributing further to Quang Nam.
