Bia Viet donates 12,000 face masks and antibacterial hand soap for Dak Lak

Dak Lak, August 11th, 2020 – Vietnamese people across the country are known for our national spirit under any circumstances. Especially, when it comes to difficult times, the unified spirit is further amplified.

Since the second outbreak of Covid-19, Vietnamese people everywhere have bolstered support for areas affected by the pandemic. In that same spirit rippling across the nation the past two weeks, Bia Viet – a product of HEINEKEN Vietnam that is “born in Vietnam, honoring the unified spirit Vietnam” has donated 12,000 face masks and antibacterial hand soap for people in Dak Lak – the central highland province where a couple of positive cases have been confirmed.

The donation is contributed by HEINEKEN Vietnam employees and our business partners in Central area. On August 10th, representatives of HEINEKEN Vietnam in cooperation with People’s Committee of Cu M’Gar district have visited and gave the donation in the communes of Ea Drong, Ea Kiet, Ea Kpam, Ea Kueh, Ea Tar, Quang Hiep and Ea Pok town, Cu M’Gar district, Dak Lak province. The area is home to various ethnic minorities whose life are facing difficulties. The gifts have been presented to households, in the hope of supporting local residents and authority in health protection and disease prevention.

In April, upon its market launch, Bia Viet also donated VND 10 billion to support health care and emergency service workers on the frontlines of the Covid-19 pandemic – through the Vietnam’s Fatherland Front.
