HEINEKEN Vietnam Warm Spring Program helps bring joy to underprivileged communities for Tet

Tiền Giang, 18th December 2019 - Today, HEINEKEN Vietnam, the leading brewer of popular beer brands such as Heineken®, Tiger, Amstel, Larue, Strongbow, and Bivina, launched its annual “Warm Spring 2020” program in Tien Giang. At the event in Tien Giang this morning, the company donated 166 gift sets worth VND 100 million to people in need.

This year, the Warm Spring program - a community support program of HEINEKEN Vietnam, aims to deliver a total of 4,800  gifts valued at over VND 1,6 billion to needy families in 28 locations across Vietnam. Each family will receive a set of Tet gifts that include cash and daily necessities. The program will start from Chợ Gạo District, Tiền Giang Province before continuing to Bình Thuận, Thái Nguyên, Phú Thọ, Quãng Ngãi, Đà Nẵng, An Giang, Hải Phòng, Quảng Ngãi, Kontum, Đắk Lắk, Bình Phước, Đồng Nai, Hà Nội, Sóc Trăng, Quảng Nam, TP.Hồ Chí Minh, Thanh Hóa, Long An, Bình Định, Khánh Hòa Cà Mau, Vĩnh Long, and Vũng Tàu.

This is the 9th year that HEINEKEN Vietnam has carried out its Warm Spring program to try to bring some festive joy to underprivileged families for Tet. With strong support from the company’s employees and its business partners, HEINEKEN Vietnam has donated more than VND 9,6 billion since starting this program; while its employees and business partners have donated an additional VND 2 billion and put in close to 11,000 voluntary hours to support local communities.
